I need to write more often

It has been a while since I posted anything. I have finally finished my bachelor's degree and have now started working on my Master's degree. I am working on my ME in Curriculum and Technology Instruction. One of the things I have to do is to write how to create a blog, so I decided I better sign in and post something and revisit my blog before I tell people how to create one. Now that I have done that I can work on a step by step process. Thanks blogger.com for helping me out! lol

What a blessed nation we are

We are blessed because God is so good to continue to grant these blessings. As I look at world events and ponder what is happening, I am thankful that I know who holds my future. It is not the president or leaders of our country, but God himself. For you see God knows very well what is going to happen in my life before I ever get out of bed each morning. He has order my steps and the path that I walk each day is by his design. Do I sometimes walk on rocky ground? Yes, do I sometimes find the path is smooth? Yes. God in His word and wisdom has said "For I know the plans I have for you, to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future."(Jeremiah 29:11) So if you find yourself wondering what is going on in your life turn your eyes to the heavens and rest in His care and know that He knows full well what you are going through. Thank you God for your love and mercy to me a sinner.

WOW long time since I posted!

It has been a long time since I posted. How did I get so busy? Well it's not hard when you are taking classes online, have a family to care for and work full time. I have decided to try to blog more often so that I can put my writing skills to practice. I love to write, I just don't take the time to sit down and do it like I should. School will be coming to a close soon and I am looking forward to the summer. My first love is cosmetology I worked in the industry for 28 years before I started teaching computer apps. I will be working for my former employer 4 days a week this summer and I am looking forward to it. One because I love the field and two for the extra money. We bought a house before Christmas and then had to buy a car so the extra pay will come in handy. I am grateful to God that I have a summer job, especially in this time of economic down turn when so many people do not have a job. I wish we could find a way for everyone to have a job and be able to take care of themselves and family. We live in one of the wealthiest countries and yet people are out of work and hungry especially children. That breaks my heart. I have to remind myself that I have to trust in God or I would be down because life is so tough sometimes. Well that's enough for today. I will try to pick this up tomorrow or maybe later this evening.

Wow what a day. The heat in Texas is really hot. It is to hot to cook, clean or do anything. Except that I don't think my husband will buy that. lol I cannot believe the price of gas and groceries. I am going to have to take a second job just to buy gas. lol

Learning is fun!

I have spent the day learning how to do many things with Microsoft Powerpoint and Google. I didn't realize you could do so many things with Google. I use it to find things but I did not know I could blog, shop, and so much more. The 1-800-goog-411 is going to be a helpful feature for many people. I love to learn new things. By the way I am a computer lab manager who has to stay up with what is going on in cyberspace so I don't get behind.
